AV Publishing LLC is a husband and wife self-publishing team with four books published to date. 

The first book, published in 2013, was Ann Votta's book, "Reunited: When the Past Becomes a Present," about how Ann and Alan reconnected on Facebook after 48 years and married in 2010. They were high school sweethearts and had lost touch in the ensuing years, but fate brought them together again--a real love story!

Ann's second book celebrated Ann's Italian heritage and the couple's love of everything Italian, especially their travels in Italy. That book, "From Italy and Back: Coming Full Circle" was a tribute to her grandparents and the risk they took in the early part of the 20th century to leave Italy and come to America, and what growing up in an Italian-American household meant to her. It is a testament to anyone's love of their heritage.

During the covid pandemic Alan Votta used the isolation time to write his own book, "Real Stories From a Nuclear Submariner," relating the time and adventures he experienced during his 24 years in the U.S. Nuclear Submarine Navy. Both serious and humorous, the book has gained much attention among military personnel, both retired and active, and depicts a true picture of life aboard a submarine in the early days when Alan built submarines and then took them to sea.

Finally, Ann has recently published another book about her twenty years as a work/life consultant when the work/life movement got its start in the U.S. That book, "The Growth of the Work/Life Movement in Corporate America: And the Professionals Who Made It Happen" is a history of her involvement, along with many colleagues, of how they became pioneers and changed the focus in corporate human resource policies to ensure work/life balance for employees. 

The books are all memoirs, both personal and professional, and showcase the personalities and achievements of two interesting individuals. Perhaps more books will follow!
